Terms of Use
These terms are a contract between you and ahmed applications (“WallGlo”, “we”, “us”) for the WallGlo apps on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac, and the WallGlo website (production: photowall-app-prod.web.app; development: photowall-app-ahmed.web.app). If you do not agree, do not use WallGlo.
1. The service
WallGlo lets you create and manage photo albums on a phone or tablet, sync selected photos and videos to your account, link an Apple TV with a QR code or short code, and play a photo wall slideshow on that TV. The hosted site is used to open pairing links and to publish these legal pages.
WallGlo is not a public photo-sharing network. Albums you publish are available only to your account and to display devices you actively link — not to other WallGlo users or the open web.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 to create an account. If you use WallGlo on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Accounts and security
You may sign in with email and password or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity on your account. Keep your password confidential and use a device you control when linking a TV.
We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, attempts to access another person’s data, or threatens the security or availability of the service.
You can delete your account at any time from the WallGlo iPhone app under Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and removes your account, published albums and media, and linked TVs. Removing an album from TV deletes published media objects we know about from our storage; the album remains on your phone until you delete it there.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of photos, videos, album titles, and other content you upload or sync (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, cache, and display Your Content solely to operate WallGlo for you — including on linked display devices and including resizing, transcoding, or checksum validation needed to show the wall.
You represent that you have the rights needed to use Your Content, including for people appearing in photos and for location or other metadata attached to files. Do not upload content that is illegal, harmful, that you do not have permission to share, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
We do not monitor album content routinely. We may remove content or suspend access if we reasonably believe it violates these terms or applicable law.
5. Photo library and on-device processing
If you allow photo-library access, the mobile app may scan library metadata to suggest Moments and Favorites albums. That processing happens on your device; you choose which suggestions to keep. You may deny library access and still add photos with the system picker. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Probe, disrupt, or overload our APIs, Firestore, Cloud Functions, or storage
- Share pairing codes, claim secrets, or signed media URLs to give strangers access to your albums
- Use WallGlo to distribute malware, spam, or harassing material
- Attempt to access another person’s albums, account, or linked devices
- Reverse engineer the apps except where applicable law allows it
- Resell or sublicense the service or scrape it except as allowed by law
7. Device linking
A TV shows a pairing code that expires after a short time. Anyone signed into WallGlo on a phone who confirms that code can link that TV to their account. Only link TVs you control. Unlinking a device from the phone revokes its display session and returns the TV to the welcome screen.
8. Plans and payment
WallGlo provides a free plan with published-album caps that we may change through Firebase Remote Config. Unless a later value is delivered, those defaults are 1 album, 20 photos or videos, and 500 MB of media in total. Caps apply only to albums you sync to TV. Local drafts and Moments on your iPhone stay unlimited. If published usage is over a cap, sync and the TV photo wall stay blocked until you upgrade or remove extra albums or media.
WallGlo Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the Apple App Store. The current list prices are USD $3.99 per month and USD $29.99 per year, or the price shown in the app. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Apple’s refund rules apply. Paid accounts can sync unlimited albums and media, with 5 GB of storage. A Free/Paid control in Developer Settings exists only in development builds to simulate plans and is not a paid entitlement.
9. Third-party services
WallGlo depends on services we do not control, including:
- Apple — iOS, tvOS, macOS, Sign in with Apple, PhotoKit, App Store In-App Purchase
- Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Hosting, Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config
- Cloudflare R2 — private album media storage
- Mixpanel — product analytics
- RevenueCat — subscription entitlements and App Store receipt validation
Your use of those services may be subject to their terms. App Store purchases are billed by Apple under Apple’s terms.
10. Privacy and diagnostics
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, including account data, synced media metadata, analytics events, and crash diagnostics sent to Firebase Crashlytics. By using WallGlo you acknowledge that policy.
We use Crashlytics to improve reliability. It may receive stack traces, device and app version, and technical error codes — not your album titles, emails, or display names.
11. Disclaimer
WallGlo is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that media will always sync, or that linked TVs will remain compatible with future OS versions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ahmed applications is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost photos, profits, or data, arising from your use of WallGlo. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for WallGlo in the 12 months before the claim (currently $0 while the service is free) and USD $50, except where liability cannot be limited (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
13. Changes and termination
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. Continued use after that date means you accept the update. You may stop using WallGlo at any time. We may stop providing the service or features with reasonable notice where practical.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue, except that you may have mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence that this section cannot waive.
